MANILAbigjackpot88, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will sign the 2025 national budget before December 25, the Presidential Communications Office said on Thursday.
“Following standard practice, the Congress-approved national budget bill will be transmitted to the Office of the President for review,” it said in a statement.
“The national budget for 2025 will be signed before Christmas Day,” the office added.
Marcos, who also chairs the National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) board, made the pronouncement after the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that the country’s inflation eased to 3.3 percent in August.
